Feel the rain, my darling daughter,
soft against your angel face?
Some say that falling water,
is the Lord giving grace.
So flowers can be plentiful--
art for lovely hair;
and many good things to eat will grow,
with hunger something rare.
So when eyes sadden,
nose flat against the pane--
think of Mother's lovely garden,
and bless the falling rain....
