Where Is the Christ (by Joe DiMino)
Where is the Christ?
In your secret room,
Shielded from sight
And criticism
Oh! Dare not offend
The others
Entitled non believers,
cause, no one knows
Despite the proof
Of His Mistletoes
From a few chosen guests
And three spiritual gifts
Come armies of elves
And mountains of Reindeer
Dung
. Where now
Heaped the Holy Child?
Beneath those piles
Of Sugar-plums
and receipts
For sums, the commercialization
Of Nicholas
Makes a good angel
Quite ridiculous
And an infant
Sits alone, sighing
For a world resigned
To dying
.
