"Where Did Time Go?" by Joe DiMino

At top speed
Did not see it
Fly—

Thought of Cadillacs
And not cataracts—

Traded-up
To new model every year
Needed or not
(Now, for a different journey
I’d give all I’ve got)

Seems there should be—
A second-chance warranty
If not guarantee offered
By the manufacturer
Of the ignorant
Riding body as well,
Ready for the heap,
Over the clock
In the pots
To reap—
