Where did Christ
In Christmas go?
Only angels
And Son of God know;
When did Christ-love
Become mere gifts
And sharing?
And not pure spirit
Repairing and preparing;
About the same time
The Pine became artificial,
And Christmas lost its sacred-traditional;
Replaced were Heaven’s Carols by trite pop-music—hardly
God-sent
Cards without mention
Of Trinity and Holy birth
Having little worth—
When did the Son Of God at last
Become truly sacrificial?
When our Nation’s White House
Replaced Him—
