What must Love
Tell us?—Love,
The transparent
And dear;
Love, always
If anything, clear;
What must love say
That could change
One silent way?—
Is it the telling
Or the ear?
And would we
Listen more, after
If not before?
No, my sweet:
If love we fear
Then not today
Not in a year.
