"What Does A Soul Weigh?" by Joe DiMino

What does a soul weigh?

Weigh the load of
Burden it carries—

The burden it carries
Full weight
When not shared—

What does a soul weigh?
Too much if you ask…

How can my soul lighten?

Depends on one’s friends
Ready to bear,
You know them
For they obviously care;

How does one feel worth
For saving?

Recall how many times
And what great negative efforts
The devil invested in your
Destruction—

What does a soul weigh?

A Heaven or
A hell--

Upon the scale our division....

Defy gravity
When pure its spirit
The weightless soul
