"To be or not to be?" (by Joe DiMino)

“To be or not to be?”
But there is that rub
Transcending question:
If still to be,
Where will one be it?
For if to postulate
A heaven and hell,
Surely when out of the body
In one of these the soul will dwell—
If there be a soul?
And if indeed a soul
The atheist
Somewhere in between
With no longer an earth
On which to spiritually lean
May find himself
In a far deeper abyss
To descend endlessly, conscious,
Into nothingness….
