"Time To Let Go" by Joe DiMino.

Hour of guilt
Having struck a last
Dead clang—
No pleasant chime ever
Has a timepiece
When mechanism to
The past—

Let go—

Once liberated
“Lesser-of-the-evils”
Never the indentured-choice
(Only good with elevation
To grades of better—
Blessed and greater blessed
Those with courage
To step from shadows,
In full rays
To face the sun
(Sad limits self imposed—
Eyes turned in
And downward--
Rotation counter clockwise
Toward the grave—
Cold and cramped
A turn away
From living)—

Step from shadows,

Breathe clear essence
Of your star—born
Out of one
Giving rise
To multitudes—
New dawn
A decision away—
