The song of love
Is a happy song
Come sing
Along with me;

The song of love
Doesn’t cost anything
Try a verse
It’s free;

The song of love
Is for harmony
Can be sung
Everyplace
By everyone;

Deep or high
Let your voice fly—
It’s easy
So just
Give it a try;
The song of love
You don’t need to buy…
Already inside of you, my friend
Already inside of you;

The song of love
Was first sung by God,
Then angels heard
The music
Of His word,

And soon all heaven
Was singing

And celebrating

As a new universe
Began vibrating….

They sang a song of man, my friend,

They sang a song of man;

Gave him lips
And his own voice
Singing a lonely phrase
And then in chorus

Gave them arms
And hands for holding
Then bells for ringing
And most precious of all
Loving hearts
For everything—

The song of love is everything
Already inside of you, my friend
Already inside of you….
