"The Kiss" by Joe DiMino
There is nothing
Finer than a kiss
No vintage wine
Can compare to such bliss
Though intoxicating
Brew may seem,
A kiss, not a glass
Is far supreme
And many others have
Greed for the rich
Of jewels;
For possessions
Less than these
Have violated
More than mans rules
Yet for me
Remains the greatest prize
The wealth of passion
In my beloveds eyes;
The parting of her lips,
The press against mine,
Breathlessly I gaspthank You, Divine!
