"After seeing pages from "The Illuminated Bible" (by Joe DiMino)

This evening 
I was inspired
by Welsh born artist
Donald Jackson-
His selfless dedication
and personal sacrifice
are really beyond
simple poetic expression,
and perhaps spans
many generations,
procured deep within
the cloistered archives
from the sacred vellum
of human spirit 
and soul-
I was reminded so
of William Blake-
of course Donald is
his own man,
with a particular flare
of artistic genius,
but here
even yet another
from God
peeling away
fleshen veils
till all that is left
is everything-
the illumined body of Christ.
