"That Could Never Do" by Joe DiMino

I took a modicum of sky
For pressing between pages
Remembering our sunny day;
Some would say, why not
A clover? Or flower?
Something believable for
Its size—
I said, that would be like lies
Believable just to seem true
Of our grand times together
That could never do….
