Thanks-giving is the soul
Inhaling and giving back,
Such respiration
Natural for the heart;

Imparting the joy of giving
And receiving, God’s reason
For the heart—

You see, giving
Is a treasure released
That will multiply its good;

And receiving
A blessing embraced
As a heart
Created for grace
Thus it should!
