"Spring Fever" (by Joe DiMino)

In the air scent and color,
one breath-taste breathes warmth to the meet;
responding in like manner, with a bit more heat,
I now dance to my lady’s feet;
knowing she will greet me fondly
her heart strong with a blushing beat:
her arms opening as blossoms open to first light—
though not a perfect bee by any-means—somehow, in the season,
even I seem oddly an acceptable sight.
