"Silver Threads" (by Joe DiMino)

I saw silver threads—
Unraveling
In a fabric
Though older
Yet divine—
Silver threads
Loosening,
As others loved
Now mine;

Edges fraying
For somehow
Greater design;

Silver threads

Nothing to dread—

A bit more tarnish

Then

Thankfully
Resign.
