She has dreamed in faith--

dreamed in doubt;

held to her dream

in a world

often unkind to dreamers

discarding them in and out--

The after-glow of sunset--

stars just before dawn

when not clearly night

nor clearly day

misty dreamers never belong--

She has dreamed in faith

dreamed in doubt--

dreamed of love

and loved her dreams

alone it seems....
