"Romance Of Words" (by Joe DiMino)

A Writer must write—
It is way of the soul;
Feeling part,
Pour of heart—
(Dammed-form for pooling
Academics and fools)
(Poetry often reshaping
Of rules);
Word-seeds into blossoms
Transformed
Of flow soaking in
With essence of deeper
Flows streaming out
(For all only
God knows)—
Spirit comes forth
In controlled-rushes;
In manic-gushes—
Never done speaking,
Terrestrial and sub-sea-voices;
Breathless expression
In trill and clear Tidal-run—
Ebbing then pushing
For greater choices,
Like other Writer
Very long ago—
With enough love for Living-words
Spoken
Our journeys begun….
