"Rainbows We Adore" (by Joe DiMino)

Rainbows we adore—
Knowing from Heaven
They pour
Out brilliance—
True Technicolor:
A sheer defined bend
With just the right blend;
Of blues, reds, greens and yellows—
We rejoice with such arching
As sky mellows—
The sun reclaiming His view,
Taking back
What great storms,
Are at great loss to do:
Drown the earth with all its people.
Stop all gleam from the tallest steeple.
Destroy all hope, cloud all rise—
Cut off all Light
From faithful eyes.
