 “Poets and Poetry”(by Joe DiMino)

Did you ever
Try to reason
With a poet
Out of words
In season—
Better—approach
A mad dog
Hoping foam
Will clog—
What good
Roses
Up in air
If hung
Without a
Flair—
For all the color
They bare
Height not enough
To care—
And oh
What blue blue sky
If not
A Cloud
To dye;
If far
Too sunny-eye,
Time to clear
My dear—
As
Van
Gogh
Offed his
Ear….
