To write of love
On paper is fear
Therefore my mirror
A mere Paper-lover;
I write a paper
Part of me my dear
That when you read
It is not quite clear
And only a hint
For you to see
Perhaps behind the poetry
A sensitive me
Longing…
The rhythm of the words
With rhyme
Simply entertainment
Or a writ
Delegating the soul enshrined?
Maybe literary and spirit
Mortally entwined
In such a away
That if rejected
Easiest to simply say
The performance ended
The actor to retreat
Safely behind the curtain—
Love and theater
Having this in common
Needing fond audience
For certain....
