Is all it takes
To fix
What bad lovin' breaks;

One good lovin', sugar,
To make right
What wrong lovin' fakes--

One good lovin', baby,
To restore
When selfish lovin'
Forsakes--

One good lovin'
Is all it takes:

Ya gotta sing
About lovin'
Like lovin's all there is;
Ya gotta dance
The dance of lovin'
Till lovin's
What ya lives;

Every breath of body,
Every beat of heart--
Ya gotta give-it-up, child,
Not holding back
