"On the Periphery" (by Joe DiMino)

What intrigues me most
Are things I only sense
Outside of human definition
At mind’s edges

Vague beyond knowing
Yet too profound a sense
To simply ignore
Like birth canals
And super novas

I guess it is how one
Manages such information
When first made aware,
Whether one is more
Comfortable closer
To the center
Or on the periphery
Where shadows morph
Into to light
And light spent
Finds old dark
To seed
With new unrest….
