"My New Year Toast" (by Joe DiMino)

A New Year—

Out with the old
In with the new:
Born again in heaven
While on earth
We celebration a new child.

It is breath.

It is seasons,
Life and death—

By expelling
The plant gifts us
With a bud,
The planet
With giving us Blossom-time—

This New Year,
A new supernal—

So I toast:
Wishing the world the best,
Raise my glass
For the good host—
That all may seek in God
And be blessed.
