"Missing The Plug of Reason"  by Joe DiMino

Eyes (brightest when lit)
Too often dimmed
By manmade structures (another's idea
Of beauty;by metal and
Concrete bridges (science's
Way of crossing over) I choose
Spirit for illumination,
Rejecting anchorless manipulations:
The electric mind 
On the move still
Obviously without a plug
Of reason….
