Meow! Meow!
(Get up! Get up!)
Come on…let’s play!
Catch us some mice—
Silly to waste the night
Sleeping (for the fourth time
At 3am) Meow! Meow!
(The old cat, for some reason,
No longer wanting to go out evenings
Without company) quite a quandary!
