Man's Oldest Olympic(by Joe DiMino)
I speak of essence,
Not of flame nor spark
Nor potential,
Cause being the effect
Nothing exists
Outside of God;
And yet, He is
The inner and outer core
If a paradox
Not Hisours;
It is neither time nor space
The ether we travel through
But that of
Consciousness and will,
The free always misunderstood;
Total responsibility
While all powerful
We settle for weakness
In place of omnipotence
Mans oldest Olympic
That of shifting blame
.
