We often see things
As we wish they were
And not as they are-
Wishing all birds
Had forever-wings;
And for every cloud
The silver lining
Never faded
To peel away
As each of us
Lives a reality
Of seasons
With allotted time;

Fresh paint
Closer to
Experience:

That all good things
Need constant tending to

And love, too often

Is like the butterfly,

Fragile

And for many of us
Always flitting away….
