Lies are easily
Supported (more lies infinite)

While truth must
Have its verifications
Immovable

Ask the politician
Expert exporter of lies-

Into next generations-
The subtle
Molestation
Of
Children
A campus lecture

Ask Hollywood
No longer defending lies
Simply living them
As if earnest

Ask those whores
Of the press
Too lazy now
To even bother
Making up their own

Oh, I know the lie
To paint all with the
Same broad brush-
But the greater mistruth
That if one
Does not paint
At least to
Freshen
The
Lying-
Look

So the sculptor
Possibly most truthful-
Near-honest liar
If in fact
It is durable marble
Which long
Supports scars
And not
The more pliable
And ready
Plaster

Ah!-the poet stands alone
Repeating that which shouldn't
So directly be said

On his lips
Still a stretch
From the heart
The lies
Yet remain
Lies
By example
As the Prof
Unwittingly said
Lies being mostly head
Therefore
Originate in
The faculty
Bed
