"Kisses" (by Joe DiMino)

We seek the nectar…
Flutter at the flower,
Mirror image
Pressing and releasing
For want of separation
Only that there is new
And immediate rediscovery—
Of freshly joining
That which is already
United in spirit,
Demanding its natural transformation
From something dark and dense to lightening
That has wings and flies
With a mere thought
Of the brushwork and then touch—
Two worlds in halves!
Infinity theorized realized
At a moment clasp—
Silence and breathless
Except for a delicious smack;
In the instant life and death
Comes full circle, a taste consummate—
The assumption and reason
For all journeys:
To be annihilated and born again its heart flicker
A burst of universe
Omnipotence as Brahma
