"Just Another Day 2" (by Joe DiMino)

I bought a non polluting horse
often relieving himself on the road
my good neighbor complained--
an avid jogger, cyclist
(global warming expert...etc.)

So I prayed about it
after finding my church
no longer allowed to display
a crucifix
offensive to the same

following religious service
I went to breakfast
the president's wife
pointing to my plate
gravely shaking her head
while lecturing children

finally arriving home safely
the way I try to stay
careful not to break any
mercury filled extending life light-bulbs
