"I Thought Of My Treasures" (by Joe DiMino)

I thought of my treasures,
Collected over years-
Soon found my focus
Dust;
Thought of my clutter
Of knowledge,
Sorted through
To the meaningful little,
Wanting to take with me
Few as possible
So not to burden
A travelling soul
Fond of fluff-

Not to prolong
The cleansing process,
Forcing breath back in
Through a more dense
Filter of Time….
