"I Love To Read" (by Joe DiMino)

I love to read
The writings of others--
Especially those of poets;
But there is time and place for everything-
And when leisure,
Mood is my catalyst;
My soul needing to give its all--
Respect for the authors,
And devout worship of the muse.

When travelling, I only take
Reference for writing--
Never read in transit;
My mind a library of fiction
Without fact--
Fact is for business;
For science;
And all the rest I think
Are amended covers,
Attempting to describe
Fluid pages
Of what some would call
A novel life of thought….
