"Foolish Man" (by Joe DiMino)

Rivers brake to gurgles
Seas to no prodding tides
Spent and sunken all vessels,
Sailors, no longer ride!
Is a voyage worth the gold?
Is a voyage worth the gold?

No heart deserving one breaking
Shores tired of their aching
Leave the sea its foam
Foolish men with the self
You waste more precious
The home

It may be seas
Or mountains on the ball—
More modern, the sculptures
Using concrete and glass
Markets and their
Ticker-tapes pass!
Is a voyage worth the Gold?
Everything not worth one soul!

Leave the sea its foam
Foolish man is the self
When wasting the more precious
His home
