When springtime
Lights the meadows,
Wildflowers bring back
Memories of you—
But what they failed tell me was
Youth is a one-time season—
And True-love often
One-time too;
True lovers
(As blossoms
In meadows)
Never know
If back
When winter is through
Will all twos be together
Or fields of lonely blues?
