"Cut Stems" (by Joe DiMino)
No crime or sin
For the stems you cut
Complicit, blame Mother
For irresistible nature
And those bakes of cookies
Left outno locks on the jars
Just a warning with a wink
Children, not before dinner;
So if Mother can blink,
Then a bouquet in a window;
And some crumbs, all thats left,
She smiles at the theft;
So why, persist Imere man
And not flawless creator
Judge all my brothers actions
Using human eyes
Like a gator
