"Congress Without God" (by Joe DiMino)

While it is natural
To love,
It is the acquired,
To hate,
That often governs
Human hearts
Leading to behavior
Profligate—
Negative responses
We become host to
When the soul
Leaves God
From heated debate;

Peace and God
Go hand-in-hand;
But when left-out
Man alone
Instinctively confronts man.
