"Christmas Again" (by Joe DiMino)

It's Christmas Again--

and once more

Baby Jesus

born in my heart.

A gift to me,

and the world on a slope,

sliding from heaven

clinging to hope.

It's Christmas again--

where had it gone?

I remember the lights

the spirit of song

the praise and the prophets

the magi

angels on high

joy on faces

of children to die.

It's Christmas again--

Father we cheer,

let your Son be with us

each day of the year;

keep us

from judgment

Father we implore

Lead us not

to temptation

and never to war.
