"Blurred Lines" (by Joe DiMino)

Sometimes lines are blurred
Between outer and inner
One not certain if a vision
Or dream, if touch
Or some desired feeling;

Joy can be manufactured
At the least when not real
Whimsically shaped and painted
To a brighter occasion—

While sadness remains a core issue
More the injection mold
Molten hot and burning
Under great pressure
Till released and allowed
To cool
Sometimes beyond a lifetime
If left to waiting
