"Beyond The Living" by Joe DiMino Too often We count our loses Overlooking the abundance Surrounding them; And, even those loved, Who time outruns And all one’s hope And prayers Cannot redeem (irreplaceable), Only the overtaking is perishable For heaven re-embraces (The stars much brighter For our self giving), As God first gave Of His Self For the mortal heart’s joy Now we must trust For the giving greater— That love goes on Bonds more sacred And ever enduring Beyond the living….
