"A Great Lie" by Joe DiMino.

A great lie wound into clocks repeated,
But Time does not rule!
Nor seasons with their boastful airs
Claiming Another’s colors
Then shedding what was never theirs;
Nor mirrors—may they smudge
And fog in hell,
All thieves enticing to hoard images
Of light,
Deceiving eyes and worse yet souls
Their houses are glass
All meant to pass

Spirit outside such mortal reflections
